It is with great sadness we advise that Grace Tucker, a Life Member of Inclusive Sport SA, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2018. Grace was a tremendous supporter of inclusive sports and one of the original parents who assisted Marie Little OAM to start the netball competition (now C6) when Inclusive Sport SA first started in the 1980’s. Grace’s daughter, Tracey, played C6 netball for many years with Newton Jaguars, but passed away in 1999. The C6 Netball Best and Fairest Trophy is named in Tracey’s honour. Grace still stayed involved with netball program after losing her daughter and dedicated more than 20 years coaching the Newton Jaguars C6 team accumulating many premierships along the way. In 2006 Grace was awarded the Newton Jaguars Netball Club Coach of the Year in recognition of the outstanding contribution made to the club. Inclusive Sport SA sends its best wishes and condolences to Grace’s family and friends for their loss.
