Push and Power Sports Association (PAPSA) specialises in providing sports for people with a disability who utilise power or manual wheelchairs for daily mobility in SA. The association administers and operates the PAPSA competition, inclusive three sporting competitions: Powerchair Hockey, Rugby League and Balloon Soccer as well as the junior Active Kids program. These competitions are a great starting point for new players and are open to all ages, disabilities, gender and diverse background wheelchair users.

PAPSA Competition

You can find us at Northfield at the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (207-235 Hampstead Road, Northfield SA 5085) on Monday nights from 7:00pm-8:45pm over the Summer season.

Active Kids

Active Kids is a specially designed program to provide a sports outlet for young children with a disability who utilises power or manual wheelchairs for daily mobility. It serves as a pathway for participants to join PAPSA once they have developed their skills through training, game-play and being involved in this fun and engaging environment. The program is located in Goodwood at the Goodwood Community Centre (32/34 Rosa St, Goodwood SA 5034) on Monday afternoons from 4:00pm-5:30pm during the later school terms.

SA Powerchair Football – Administered by One Culture Football

Administered by One Culture Football this competition will take place at The Lights Recreation Centre , Lightsview. Competitions run every second Saturday starting from February 8 until June 13 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre(244 – 270 East Parkway Corner Hampstead Road and East Pkwy, Lightsview SA 5085).
