Virtus: World Intellectual Impairment Sport is the recognised International Federation for sport for athletes with an intellectual impairment and is responsible for managing and overseeing the eligibility process for athletes wishing to compete within Virtus and other para-sport competition.
If you, or the athlete you support, are selected in a Australian national team competing in a Virtus recognised competition registration with Virtus is required to be able to play in the competition or championships.
Sport Inclusion Australia collects all applications for Virtus eligibility in Australia.
Virtus requires all athletes seeking eligibility to provide the following documents for review:
