Inclusive Sport SA have a fantastic opportunity for qualified swim instructors to fill a number of casual roles within its highly successful Rapidswim: Learn to Swim program. In the Rapidswim: Learn to Swim program instructors work 1:1 with young people and adults living with sensory, intellectual and/or other disabilities to increase their water confidence, safety and awareness as well as the development and evolvement of swimming strokes. Instructors must have a passion for social inclusion and a welcoming spirit! The program runs in line with the school terms across multiple locations, days and times;
- Tuesday, 5pm – 8pm – Noarlunga
- Wednesday, 4pm – 6:30pm – Hampstead
- Wednesday, 6pm – 8:00pm – Brighton #2
- Thursday, 6pm – 8pm – Brighton
- Saturday, 10am – 1pm – Hampstead
- Saturday, 12noon – 3pm – Golden Grove
- Saturday, 12:30pm – 3:00pm – Thebarton
Essential Qualifications:
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion
- Provide First Aid Qualification
- Perform CPR Qualification
- Police Check
Desirable Qualifications:
- DCSI – Child-related employment screening
- DCSI – Vulnerable person-related employment screening
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Adults
