09 Apr Joe Williams joins the IDS19 Lineup
Inclusive Sport SA is pleased to announce the latest speaker to join the 2019 Inclusion and Diversity in Sport line up, professional Boxer and former NRL player Joe Williams.
Joe Williams is a proud Wiradjuri, 1st Nations Aboriginal man born in Cowra, and raised in Wagga Wagga New South Wales.
A former National Rugby League player, Joe played for South Sydney Rabbitohs, Penrith Panthers and Canterbury Bulldogs before taking up professional Boxing in 2009. Along with a successful boxing career Joe attributes his shift to the sport as a key factor in changing his life, mindset and wellbeing.
Now a successful published author and speaker, Joe gives back to community by sharing his struggles with mental health issues to better educate and assist others through his The Enemy Within workshops.
