Information regarding the Royal Commission

After many years of consideration the Australian Government has announced the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability. This marks an important time for the rights of people with disability in Australia, as we navigate a national platform where your experiences can make a difference in shaping reform and change for future generations. This Royal Commission is here to promote a more inclusive society that supports the independence of people with disability and their right to live free from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation. Inclusive Sport SA would like to ensure that all our members are aware of their right to make a submission about their experience with Violence, Abuse, Neglect or Exploitation to the Royal Commission. Anyone is able to make a submission – the Royal Commission is here to provide a safe opportunity for you to be heard. If you need help making a submission, ask someone close to you that you trust, reach out to an advocate who can help you tell your story, or if you feel comfortable contact Inclusive Sport SA on 8122 6730 for help on how to make a submission. The Royal Commission is now open – you can make a submission by clicking HERE.
