The Inclusive Sport SA Fundraising Committee is being re-established to raise the much needed funds required for Athletes living with disability and for the awareness of inclusion through sport and recreation. Through the work of Inclusive Sport SA and relevant State Sport Bodies, there is an ever increasing number of South Australians representing Australia, South Australia and their local Club, battling to meet the high costs associated with interstate and overseas travel, training, equipment purchases, uniforms etc. Colleen Bennett (Board Director) will Chair the Fundraising Committee and is seeking a further six people to join her. The Committee are seeking people from various backgrounds who all have a common goal of “supporting Athletes living with disability and to raise awareness of inclusion through sport and recreation”. It is anticipated that the committee would meet on a bi-monthly basis for no more than 1½ hours (at the Inclusive Sport SA Office) to discuss and implement fundraising ideas/plans. For example:

• Quiz Night
• City to Bay Fun Run
• Various fundraising projects
• Movie Night
