Tom is also a Board Director of The Disability Trust in NSW, the Honorary Solicitor to Rugby Union SA, a panel member of the State Sport Disputes Centre (of Sport SA) and a member of the Australian New Zealand Sports Law Association. Tom’s interest in the disability sector began when he worked as a disability support worker for various service providers in Sydney whilst at University.

Originally from Northern NSW, Tom now resides in Adelaide with his wife and three children and still tries to kick a rugby ball and run regularly.

Dr Shannon Schedlich is the CEO of the Media Centre for Education Research Australia (MCERA). She has previously worked in government, community engagement, universities, change leadership and governance reform. Shannon holds a doctorate from the University of Newcastle.

She was Chief of Staff to the Minister for Disabilities when South Australia signed up as the first state to join the NDIS.

Shannon is on her local school’s governing council, is a Community Ambassador for Catherine House, and is one of three external mentors currently participating in the SA Police’s pilot mentoring program.

In her downtime, Shannon has two primary-aged children, as well as two stepchildren. She is assisting her husband in the writing of his memoir, providing the social history context for his story of adoption in twentieth century Australia.

Andrew is a Business Consultant working with the Not-For-Profit sector to grow their capacity and impact with the people they are serving. With over 13 years in the Not-For-Profit sector in Board and CEO roles, Andrew has experience leading organisations through significant change, including adapting to the NDIS.

He was previously the CEO of Multiple Sclerosis SA/NT and Hockey SA. Before this, Andrew worked in engineering for 15 years including global leadership of sales, marketing and business strategy, and regional leadership for quality management.

Andrew has Masters’ degrees in Business Administration and Project Management, is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia (FIEAust).

With an interest to use his commercial skills to build the capacity and impact of Not-For-Profit organisations, Andrew is also a Director of CBM Australia.

Matthew is the Director (Finance) of JPE Design Studio, Australia’s oldest Architecture firm and joined the Board of ISSA in January 2020.During his career as Chartered Accountant Matthew has worked in a range of industries including Architecture, Insolvency, Health and Wellbeing, as well as a year in Africa working as the CFO of a luxury safari and travel group.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys family time with his wife and son, volunteers in Australian Refugee Association’s social support program and plays any and all sports including basketball, tennis and netball.
