Inclusive Sport SA and SANFL support the South Australian team for footballers with an intellectual disability to compete at the National Inclusion Carnival. What? The National Inclusion Carnival is a week-long competition for footballers with an intellectual disability to compete for their State in a National Championships The States competing in 2015 are South Australia, Victoria Metro, Victoria Country, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia Where? Melbourne, Victoria – will be held on various ovals including Whitten Oval, Preston City Oval and Punt Road Oval When? The competition takes place between Wednesday, 5th August to Sunday 9th August The team will travel from the 4th to 10th August Who can play? Footballers selected in the team must be male, over 16 years of age and have an intellectual disability. Players must have completed the Ausrapid eligibility application process to classify their intellectual disability. Who are the coaches? Trial #1 Saturday 27th June 10am to 11am Max Basheer Reserve West Lakes Boulevard, West Lakes
Trial #2 Sunday 5th July 10am to 11am Blair Athol Recreation Reserve Lionel Avenue, Blair Athol

Footballers must REGISTER by completing the application form Costs involved? Players must be aware that there are costs involved. Inclusive Sport SA and SANFL will ensure the most cost effective travel and accommodation options are chosen along with seeking various sponsorship opportunities to subsidise player costs. However, players must still expect to pay approx. $500 for the trip (subject to change) Players with any outstanding debt to Inclusive Sport SA will NOT be considered for selection until the debt has been cleared Other information: Players selected will have the opportunity to play an exhibition match at half time of Collingwood vs Carlton at the MCG on Saturday 8th August
